This archival technique is used mostly with paper art and is done in a way that makes the artwork in your art frame have a floating or hovering esthetic with a slightly elevated positioning and minimal archival hinges to hold the artwork on position. This method is done with glass spacers and the glass does not tough the art at anytime. That prevents condensation from touching the artwork as a well as avoids the permanent sticking to glass that certain artwork is well known to do.
